I have two objectives with this post. One, to bookmark for myself, and to share with you, the classic article Tailor-Made: new equations to determine proper tee size by Paul Vermeulen.

There will be a football pitch workshop in Bangkok on November 18 and 19. If you are interested in sports turf of any sort, I encourage you to attend. Warren Scott, the senior grounds manager of Liverpool FC, will join us to discuss optimum conditions for every aspect of pitch maintenance, with a goal of both player safety and healthy grass.

I participated in a pitch performance workshop put on by the Football Association of Thailand and the Thai League. John Ledwidge answers a question during the FA Thailand & Thai League’s Pitch Performance Workshop on August 5.

These are the slides and handout for my seminar tomorrow in Bangkok. I don’t expect to record a screencast video of this presentation; the handout is 5 pages and covers most of what I expect to discuss.
